hoping to adopt

We can't imagine the feelings expecting parent's have, and we don't want to pretend like we know or even understand. But we can make promises that we will keep, because they are giving us a piece of them!

We promise to love all our children with all our hearts. We promise to give our children a home where they feel loved and safe .... because the world can be so scary & mean at times, & we want to provide a safe haven for them. We promise to teach our kids to be kind & to look for those people who need a friend. We promise to teach our children the teachings of Jesus Christ, as our religion is the reason we are who we are. We promise to teach them the importance of education & to give them all the opportunities to learn. We promise to teach our kids to play! To learn about the world around them & to explore the outdoors. We promise to snuggle them every day & to talk to them about their dreams & all the hard things. We promise to tell them how much they are loved & how important they are every day! We promise to be there when they make a mistake & to help them through it. We also know that we too will make mistakes, so we promise to work through those mistakes as well. We promise to have the type of openness that we (you & us) are both most comfortable with through: pictures, text, visits, calls. We promise to teach our children about their heritage and who they are. And we promise to always be there to fight for them and to support you & to remind them of how special they are - even when the world is telling them otherwise. And most importantly we promise to give our children a life of laughter, happiness, and love!
